We hear about a documentary that talks about the sexual allegations against Mario Batali and how the restaurant industry has a real problem. We debate whether the MeToo villains become violent out of entitlement or if there’s more to the story. We discuss how gender informs physical ability, and we consider solutions to trans and nonbinary people in sports (Susie says no sports, Sarah says new sports.) We learn about a man who has called 911 hundreds of times to report crimes at an imaginary hotel and how mental illness can have consequences that are stigmatizing because of who they hurt and affect. Plus, we hear why people think “authentic” Japanese food has to be expensive, but “authentic” Mexican food has to be cheap, and why it contributes to stereotypes.
